Mayflower Cotton 8/4 er en klassiker. Et 4-trådet garn i 100% ren bomuld i den bedste kvalitet. Formentlig vores mest kendte garn og det oprindelige speciale, siden Mayflower blev grundlagt for over 70 år siden. Cotton 8/4 er både slidstærkt og blødt. Det er åndbart og leder overskydende varme væk, hvilket gør det særligt egnet til fx sommertøj. Garnet er også meget velegnet til både strikkede og hæklede karklude, da bomuld har en høj sugeevne og tåler vask ved høj temperatur. 8/4 bomuldsgarn er også det foretrukne hæklegarn til fx bamser.
