The To Tie-For Top is a seamless fitted cardigan perfect for layering during shoulder season or a cool summer night! Tie the top over a tank top or bralette to transition from day-wear to night, and prepare for ALL the compliments. Constructed from the top down, the body is knit side-to-side with an open front, after which sleeves stitches are picked up from the armholes. The edging and front ties are constructed using the I-cord technique. This pattern is written for intermediate knitters and was designed using a single strand of Shiny Happy Cotton from Wool and the Gang on 4mm needles. Substitutions are welcome, but be sure to check gauge as WATG cotton is light worsted-weight rather than aran, such as the Pima Cotton offered by We Are Knitters.
